Alliance Training and Testing instruction programs satisfy all requirements to be licensed in the State of Tennessee as an armed or unarmed security officer. Our objective is to professionally train individuals to become licensed armed and unarmed security officers in the State of Tennessee. Alliance Training and Testing Tennessee programs include; unarmed and armed officer license classes, online on-demand unarmed guard license certification, armed upgrade license classes, and armed renewal license classes. The strategic partnership program allows companies to post free job advertisements to fill vacancies with high-quality candidates. The job board, free job tools, and free step-by-step licensing guide, support students to complete the Tennessee licensing process and provide job placement assistance.
Alliance Training and Testing LLC has formed a partnership with Mr. Warren Smith to provide Tennessee Armed Security License Renewal Training Classes.
The TN Armed Security License Renewal Class is a one (1) day course that is four (4) hours in length.
Armed Security Officers are required to complete “refresher and range training”, in compliance with TCA 62-35-122, prior to registration renewal.
Every two (2) years armed security guards must complete four (4) hours of refresher training and requalify in the use of a firearm by achieving a minimum of 70% on any silhouette target course approved by the commissioner prior to the renewal of their guard registration.
It is recommended that you submit your renewal form with all completed renewal requirements thirty (30) days prior to the expiration date. There is a ninety (90) day late renewal period afforded for license renewal. However, you may not continue to operate on an expired license or registration.

Renewal Eligibility:
Each student must have an ACTIVE Tennessee Armed License OR be ELIGIBLE within the 90 day renewal period at the time of the class. It is recommended that you submit your renewal form with all completed renewal requirements thirty (30) days prior to the expiration date.
